Call for Presentations and Short Courses

Due November 15, 2024

June 16 - 18, 2025

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

ISCC is soliciting presentation, poster, and short course proposals from color practitioners,
researchers, students, and professionals on Color as Communication.

Because the scope is broad, we welcome a variety of presentation formats.

ISCC advances the “knowledge of color as it relates to art, science, industry and education. Each of these fields enriches the others, furthering the general objective of color education.

Rochester, NY is a long-term incubator in color, demonstrated by the historic contributions of Eastman Kodak, Xerox Corporation, and many others. There has been long-term color research presence, celebrated in 2023 with the 40th Anniversary of the Munsell Color Science Laboratory. Today, Rochester is still home to world class industrial research and entrepreneurship in many fields related to color, particularly color imaging.

Proposals may include audience participation and should not be commercial in nature. The Program Committee will announce results on February 1, 2025. If speaker submissions exceed available slots the committee will designate some presentations for poster format. ISCC will recognize outstanding student presentations in any format.
