Rochester, New York

Rochester, NY is a long-term incubator in color, demonstrated by the historic contributions of Eastman Kodak, Xerox Corporation, and many others. Culturally, Rochester played important roles in the movements for abolition and women's suffrage. Culture is still important here, as shown by a thriving downtown music and theater scene. Today, Rochester is still home to world class industrial research and entrepreneurship in many fields related to color, particularly color imaging.
